World Water Day Celebration – Sternberg Museum - March 25 –Cottonwood District 4-H Water Ambassadors will be on hand to lead “hands on” water activities with younger children.
Looking for some fun learning experiences for youth this spring? Check out the NEW Kansas Clover Classroom – find FREE, “hands on” activities that youth can explore at home - https://www.kansas4-h.org/resources/cloverclassroom.html There are 33 4-H project areas. Check back often as we develop more fun 4-H Project Challenges.
An important and exciting event for 4-H members is 4-H Club Day! Kansas 4-H youth learn and practice the skills necessary to stand before an audience and speak eloquently. 4-H helps youth learn the skills necessary to clearly organize and present ideas through project talks, demonstrations, illustrated talks and public speaking presentations. While we are working under modified formats for 2021, we cannot welcome visitors this year and look forward to next year when the families can join to listen, learn, and cheer on their youth. Barton will hold their 4-H Club Day on February 28th and Ellis will hold their 4-H Club Day on March 7th. Youth who achieve a purple on a demonstration, illustrated talk, project talk or reading are eligible to present at the Kansas State Fair in September.
