4-H GRADUATES RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS

 Ellis County 4-H Scholarship & Development Fund has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors who have been actively involved in 4-H leadership and citizenship during their 4-H careers.  Receiving 4-H Scholarships in 2023 are:

Wyatt Grabbe, Hays High graduate and 10-year member of the Good Hope 4-H Club. Wyatt plans to attend Northwest Technical College and major in Precision Agriculture.

Devlyn Jochum, Hays High graduate and 12-year member of the Gemini Juniors 4-H Club. Devlyn plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Music Education.

Sheena Klaus, Hays High graduate and 5-year member of the Buckeye Jr. Farmers 4-H Club.  Sheena has plans to attend Fort Hays State University, majoring in Elementary Education.

Callie Lane, Victoria High graduate and 9-year member of the Bits-n-Spurs and Victoria Vikings 4-H Clubs. Callie is planning to attend Fort Hays State University and major in Social Work.

Dakota Metzler, Ellis High graduate and 11-year member of the Ellis Sunflowers 4-H Club.  Dakota plans to attend Bethany College and major in Exercise Science.

Karli Neher, Hays High & Homeschool graduate and 10-year member of the Victoria Vikings 4-H Club. Karli plans to attend Colby Community College majoring in Agriculture Education.

Cyrus Vajnar, Hays High graduate and 13-year member of the Good Hope 4-H Club. Cyrus has plans to attend Fort Hays State University, majoring in Education.

Ellis County 4-H Scholarship & Development has awarded over $59,000 in scholarships since its inception in 1998.  Their primary focus is fund development to support the 4-H Youth programs and educational scholarships in Ellis County.  To give support of this fund, contact the Cottonwood District Extension Office in Hays at (785) 628-9430.
