Considerations when harvesting short wheat

Unfortunately, there will be some short wheat to harvest this year, below is a link to some tips/considerations of doing so with info. on stripper headers, air reels, draper headers, flex heads and conventional headers along with some combine adjustments to keep in mind.

Cleaning out and fixing leaking farm ponds

Enter your best wheat by Wednesday, July 6th into the Ellis Co. Fair – Open Class Market Wheat Show.

 

Entries are fast and easy, fill up a provided 1 gallon ziploc bag of your best wheat while unloading at the elevator or at your bins at home and return a crop data card after harvest to either the elevator or Cottonwood District - Hays Office at 601 Main Street by July 6th.
