Hello! My name is Dalton Dicks, former member of the Busy Buzzer 4-H club and current Cottonwood Extension intern. After graduation and aging out of the 4-H program, I have moved up to Wichita State University and am currently pursuing a Major in Communications, with Minors in both Political Science and University Honors. I love keeping up with the news, hunting and shooting, and writing short stories and scripts. I am extremely excited to engage this opportunity to give back to 4-H through our upcoming STEM and Craft summer day camps, the Barton County Fair, and more. With some newly acquired skills in Communication and Media, I'm looking forward to getting involved again!
Howdy Folks! My name is Taylor Meyer. I’m from the small town of Garden Plain, Kansas. I am a student here at Fort Hays State University studying to earn my Bachelors in Animal Science. When I am not working or going to school, I love going out and meeting new people, taking care of my garden, or (poorly) singing along with the radio! I love exploring the world around me; you can always count on me to try something new! I am so excited to join the Cottonwood Extension District team for the summer. It is the perfect opportunity to get to meet a lot of people in the Hays community, and grow my knowledge of the agricultural world! I can’t wait to meet all the 4-H members and their families! This summer is going to be great!
