"On June 4th, Kansas 4-H State Project Award Winners and their families gathered in Manhattan at the Emerald Circle Banquet to applaud and celebrate their accomplishments. The Cottonwood Extension District was represented by Samantha Negaard and Russell Kern for the outstanding project work in the Performing Arts and Foods & Nutrition 4-H Projects, respectively. The work we celebrated was from the 2024/2025 programming year and was a culmination of their hard work, dedication, ingenuity, and personal growth. Both Samantha and Russell now have the opportunity to attend National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia, this Fall. Thank you to their parents, club leaders, and various other mentors for helping to guide them to this point! Please join us in congratulating them both on all their accomplishments!
