Empowering Youth Through 4-H - The Cottonwood District’s 4-H program continues to thrive, with exciting plans to expand youth engagement and leadership opportunities. Our agents are collaborating with schools and community organizations to introduce new programs and enhance existing ones. From STEM activities to livestock education, our focus remains on equipping young people with the skills they need to succeed.
Agriculture and Horticulture Programs - For farmers and producers, the Cottonwood District will offer a variety of workshops and consultations tailored to local needs. Whether it’s improving livestock health or enhancing crop production, our team is here to provide valuable resources and expert guidance. Additionally, gardeners can look forward to sustainable gardening practices and horticulture-focused events throughout the year. Be on the lookout for agricultural seminars, crop production programs, and horticulture workshops to meet your needs.
Strengthening Community Health - Our Family and Consumer Sciences agents have an ambitious lineup of programs aimed at promoting mental health, stress management, and overall well-being. From QPR Suicide Prevention training to prenatal education, these initiatives are designed to support individuals and families across the district.
