On Sunday, November 5, 4-H families from Barton County gathered for a Darn Tootin’ Good Achievement Celebration. Outgoing 4-H Council officers served as masters of ceremonies and included Vice President Landon Woydziak, Treasurer Melody Braddy, and Reporter Jonas Kern.
Each 4-H Club has the opportunity to highlight a few activities while noting their award winners. In addition, the Key Award was presented to Parker Dicks. Friends of 4-H were also recognized. These included the Dustin and Aimee Wyant family for their involvement and mentoring in several different project areas. Additionally, Connie Hughes was recognized as a Friend of 4-H for her continued support of youth in a variety of projects.
A wonderful committee planned the meal and decorations for a fun-filled event with a delicious dinner.
