It's time to mark your calender and consider signing up for the Stay Strong Stay Healthy workshop in Great Bend. The class will run from February 15th through April 7th, and meets from 10-11 AM each Tuesday and Thursday, at the Great Bend Activity Center. The hands-on fermantation workshop last September was a resounding success, so plans are being made to host a Sauerkraut Workshop on February 8th in Great Bend. A $25 registration fee will hold your spot and class size will be limited to 12 individuals. Each participant will receive a wide mouth canning jar with a weight and one-way valve and the ingredients to ferment a quart of sauerkraut.
