Cleaning Out and Fixing Leaking Farm Ponds

Some areas have received enough rain that farm/livestock watering ponds have water, others unfortunately have not, and still might be dry this  summer. Each year K-State Entomologists update the insect management guides for the primary crops grown in Kansas. The guides list all of the known insect pests in Kansas of each crop, a brief description of the insect and its’ life cycle, the description of the damage to the crop, the treatment threshold levels and what insecticides are labeled for treatment of the insect pests.
