Cottonwood Connections April 2026 | Page 2

I have accepted a new position closer to home and will be transitioning out of my role with Ellis County in early May.

This decision was not made lightly. Over the past four years, it has truly been a privilege to work alongside the youth, families, volunteers, and community partners who make our 4-H program so meaningful. I am incredibly grateful for the relationships built during this time and for the many opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate successes together.

From club meetings and project work to fairs, contests, and community activities, it has been an honor to be part of so many important moments in the lives of our local youth. The dedication and support from families and volunteers are what make this program and Extension strong, and I have appreciated being part of this community.

As I prepare for this transition, I will be working to ensure a smooth handoff and continued support for ongoing programs. I have full confidence that Extension will continue to thrive because of the commitment and passion of those involved.

Thank you for the support, encouragement, and kindness you have shown me over the past four years. Being part of this community has been a truly rewarding experience!

Good Luck, Tamara
