Extension Agents across Northwest Kansas gathered in Colby on Saturday, March 25, for Super Saturday! This event has been held in Hays for many years and plans are in place to alternate between FHSU and Colby Community College to provide this day of learning for 4-H members!
4-H members have the opportunity to test their evaluation skills in one of 5 contests which include entomology, horticulture, photography, life skills, and livestock. Youth also had the opportunity to participate in project fun and learning in several different areas. Cottonwood agents Stacy Campbell, Tamara Robertson, and Michelle Beran all assisted throughout the day including teaching a STEM Trash to Treasures class.
Barton County 4-H members are part of a Regional 4-H Club Day with the Midway District (Russell/Ellsworth), 21 Central District (Stafford/Edwards), Rice County, and Pawnee County.
