KIRABO
EDUCATION
Kirabo Education means “The Gift of Education” in
Lugandan. As the name suggests, it is a program that
focuses on providing children access to quality education.
By offering a quality education, we will break the cycle
of poverty and create a sustainable community.
Cotton On Group team members, their families and friends
are able to support children in Southern Uganda through this
program. Kirabo Education supports children in Kindergarten,
primary and Secondary School, Vocational training and
University. Children are allocated by criteria that determine

a child’s vulnerability, with the most in need receiving
support first.
The number of children sponsored is a constantly shifting
target, due to climate changes, the local economy and family
situations which are all beyond our control. Year on year, our
priority is to provide the vulnerable and ‘at need’ children with
the best opportunity for a quality education.
Last year, 1,556 children were sponsored and provided with
access to a quality education which is a great outcome.
