1,733 KIRABO EDUCATION Kirabo Education means “The Gift of Education” in Lugandan. As the name suggests, it is a program that focuses on providing children access to quality education. By offering a quality education, we will break the cycle of poverty and create a sustainable community. Cotton On Group team members, their families and friends are able to support children in Southern Uganda through this program. Kirabo Education supports children in Kindergarten, primary and Secondary School, Vocational training and University. Children are allocated by criteria that determine NUMBER OF CHILDREN SPONSORED 20 4,716 TEXTBOOKS DISTRIBUTED TO SCHOOLS EXERCISE BOOKS PROVIDED TO SCHOOL STUDENTS a child’s vulnerability, with the most in need receiving support first. The number of children sponsored is a constantly shifting target, due to climate changes, the local economy and family situations which are all beyond our control. Year on year, our priority is to provide the vulnerable and ‘at need’ children with the best opportunity for a quality education.
