I am incredibly honored to be recognized as Educator of the Year while serving as the Superintendent for South Washington County Schools. As the second-largest employer in Washington County, we are so fortunate to serve more than 19,000 amazing students. The recognition of Educator of the Year would not be possible without the many hardworking and dedicated staff on our team. I have the privilege of seeing this commitment firsthand, in our kitchens, talking with our custodians, riding our school buses, and working alongside our brilliant teachers and support staff. I am continually inspired by our people, who each embody the spirit of an Educator of the Year. It is their collective energy and dedication that create the vibrant learning community we are known for. The Cottage Grove Chamber has served as a positive voice and partner for our students and the work we do together. Thank you to the Chamber and to Laurie Levine ' s leadership.
