Happy 2025 to the Cottage Grove , Newport , and St . Paul Park communities !
I am honored to serve as the Board Chair for the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce . Our tri-city area is truly a vibrant place to live , play , work , and learn , and our partnerships with local cities and Washington County give us an incredible opportunity to leverage our collective strengths to support both businesses and residents .
Under the leadership of our President and CEO , Laurie Levine , the Chamber remains committed to advancing the economic wellbeing of our members and fostering a positive business climate . I am proud to work alongside Laurie and our dedicated team to make this vision a reality .
To the residents of our community — thank you ! Your patronage , employment , and volunteerism are what allow our local businesses , schools and non-profits to thrive . When visiting local establishments , look for the Chamber membership stickers and know you are supporting key partners in our shared success .
For our members , we are here for you . In 2024 , the Chamber hosted over 100 events to provide education , training , and opportunities for connection . Our Women in Business held an inaugural Summit that drew over 120 participants from all over . We expanded our support of local non-profits , awarded scholarships to high school seniors , and launched our 501 ( c )( 3 ) to further grow charitable efforts like our scholarship fund . We also remain a valuable resource to help businesses start , grow , and adapt to workforce initiatives .
As we enter 2025 , I wish everyone a happy , healthy year ahead . Together , we are building stronger communities and a brighter future for all !
