The Aquarium of Boise
The Aquarium of Boise has more than 250
different species of animals & marine life!
Their 10,000 sqft facility hosts 35K gallons of
saltwater. Some animals include iguanas,
freshwater turtles and fish, snakes and liz-
ards.
The Boise Depot
A beautiful historic Spanish-style structure
operated by the Boise Parks and Recreation
Department as an event venue and historic
site. Designed by New York architects, the
building opened in 1925.
Freak Alley Gallery
Freak Alley is a “notable venue” for murals,
graffiti and public art located in an alley in
downtown Boise. It is said to be the largest
outdoor gallery in the Northwest, and has
been a Boise institution since 2002.
Hyde Park
Hyde Park is on the National Historic Register
for several reasons. The building and archi-
tecture of the area is unique. known for its
several popular eateries and locally owned
specialty shops.
JUMP
Jack’s Urban Meeting Place is a creative
activity center with facilities for public
meetings, events and workshops. An am-
phitheater and multi-purpose studios for
art, movement, and cooking are included.
A collection of 52 tractors are on display at
various locations in the facility.
