It is my pleasure as Mayor of New Port
Richey to welcome you to the 2014
Cotee River Bike Fest. New Port Richey
has quite a bit to offer and I hope that
you will take this opportunity to get to
know our town while you are here.
Bike Fest 2014 will be centered right in the middle of
New Port Richey’s historic business district. We have a number of great restaurants and
bars downtown. We have Mexican, Italian, Irish, and classic American food available in the
historic district with Thai and other ethnic restaurants just minutes away on your bike. We
hope that you will take this opportunity to check them out.
New Port Richey also has some great local retail businesses you should check out.
Antiques, unique gifts, cameras, computers and more are all offered by our local shops.
Bike Fest 2014 is going to have some great free entertainment for you. If you are looking
for something different, we hope you will come back and visit New Port Richey again
soon. We have two live theaters, an art gallery, an award winning library, bars and
restaurants with live music every weekend, a Fresh Friday market, and an amazing river
with the opportunity for canoeing, kayaking, and other ways to explore natural Florida.
If you like what you see, you might consider moving to New Port Richey. We have
affordable housing with many of the homes having the sort of unique “character” that you
will never find in a cookie cutter subdivision.
New Port Richey has some prime business locations available. We are becoming a bit of
a high tech magnet with five new high tech firms moving into downtown New Port Richey
just since this past summer. We’d love to see a variety of new businesses join us during
the next year. For more information on opening or relocating your business to New Port
Richey, give Mario Iezzoni, the city’s economic development director, a call
