CPBSA Beauty Show : Connecting A Community
On August 5th, The Central Pennsylvania Beauty As-
sociation (CPBSA) held a successful beauty show cele-
brating its fifth year anniversary. This event has served
as appreciation for customers and has become a col-
lective effort to unite Koreans and African Americans.
700 guests showed up and out for the event wearing
white, which matched the theme, “All White with a
Splash of Pink” celebrating breast cancer survivors.
There were an array of notable people included in
the show, like G. William who took over as MC of
Beauty, Jordon Garnett as the DJ, and Pennsylvania
Governor Tom Wolf delivering a greeting message to
the CPBSA Association. In addition, three members

of the House of Representatives and two mayors at-
tended to celebrate the “CPBSA Beauty Show”, a big
festival in the community.
Ivy (Kiss) and R&B sponsored the event while many
other companies, including Bens, Model Model, Ab-
solute New York, and Evergreen, cheered and bol-
stered CPBSA beauty shows through products and
donations. The most talked-about prizes were the
40-inch TV sponsored by Mane and the 60-inch TV
sponsored by C&L Jewelry. Throughout the show,
presents were given to many guests while Divine
Barber School donated scholarships, delivering them
directly from the field.
