DIY Skincare Products - Quick and Easy!
Bored at home during isolation? Try a beauty DIY! These are just a few recipes you can try out
to up your beauty game. After all, why not come out of quarantine with a glow-up and some new
skills under your belt? The world may be crazy, and stressful, but taking time to work on some
creative projects and self care can be a great escape.
Sugar Face Scrub
Mix a tablespoon of very fine sugar with a table-
spoon of vegetable oil (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.)
and a few drops of lemon. Apply to your face with
circular motions. Rinse and dry gently with warm
water. The sugar will serve as an exfoliant, while the
moisturizing oil and lemon will leave a brightening
effect.
Nourishing mask with avocado and banana
In a bowl, mash ½ avocado and 1 banana together
until you get a cream like concoction. Then add 1 ta-
blespoon of honey to make the mixture very smooth
- spread on the face and leave for 10 minutes.
Gentle Make-up Remover With Blue-
berry Hydrosol
Flowers and their super powers! Often
used in cosmetics, they work miracles on
your skin! Here is a homemade make-up
remover that’s easy to make.
Combine a part of hydrosol with a part
of vegetable oil. Blueberry or lavender
hydrosol is particularly great because it
works wonders for tired and irritated eyes.
Castor oil is suitable because it is excel-
lent for nourishing the eyelashes, strength-
ening them and lengthening them.
For 100 ml of cleansing milk, mix 50 ml
of blueberry hydrosol with 20 ml of castor
oil and 30 ml of sweet almond oil or
jojoba. Shake the bottle and remove your
makeup as usual! Keep refrigerated for a
maximum of 1 month.
