Summer is in full swing, and it’s definitely time to
reconsider your usual hair look for something lighter and
easier. While our full summer trend issue was last month,
we’re still sharing plenty of hot weather inspiration and
educational features in this issue. Our feature this month
is All About Extensions, where we bring you an in-depth,
informative look at the basics and more of all things to do
with extensions. Even if you’re skipping heavier looks,
now is a great time to learn more about all of the terms
and features of the hair you use.
In particular, our article about understanding wefts on
page 36 is incredibly useful. Different types of wefts are
best in different situations. While most companies have
slimmed the thickness of their wefts down significantly in
the last three years, there are still some that are better
at getting a thin, yet still voluminous weft than others.
In summer, when you are more likely to sweat, shower
frequently, and participate in watersports - the thickness
of your weft can make a huge difference. This is why
