Picking out the hair to use was the easiest part.
Zury Hollywood, or Royal Imex, created their Sistar
collection for ladies that want the best quality 100%
human hair. The best part about this Yaky hair is that
it is treated with Argan Oil. This gives your hair the
moisture and support most brands are lacking. When
touching the hair, you will notice how soft it is and the
natural shine. This not only lasted all throughout the
install process, but even after curling and shooting the
hair. The hair we received and pictured is 12”, 14”, and
16”. We used almost three packs to achieve a full cap.
We should note that because the hair is 100% human
but not unprocessed, we would advise against bleaching
the hair to a desired color. This can mess with the
texture of the hair resulting in damage. To get the best
quality out of your hair, simply request to buy the hair
in the desired color that is already colored by the brand.
We reached out to a local Maryland stylist, @
stylezbyshawn, to create the wig and show us just how to
achieve this natural look. The process is very easy with
sewing the hair on the cap going all around, cornrowing
the hair with a little leave out, clipping on the cap and
styling for a natural look. Trust, this is something even
a beginner hair enthusiast could achieve!
The end look was so surreal. We were amazed just
how natural the cap blended with the hair. It almost
looked like the hair was sewn in and with a quick snap,
the hair could come off and on. Take a look at some tips

What to expect
when making a cap:
1. When picking out a cap, it is better to buy one
with clips already attached. This allows more
versatility in taking it off and on than sewing the
cap into the hair.
2. You can either sew the hair onto the cap or glue
it onto the cap. Preference is key.
3. Decide if you want a middle part or a side part.
Cut out the part before attaching the hair.
4. Leave a little leave out along the edges for a
more natural look.
5. It is better to install the hair on a wig cap mounted
on a mannequin head.
6. Make sure to get the braids as flat as possible so
that the wig lays flat.
7. Apply frizz control to the leave out.
8. Do use any temperature higher than 350 degrees.
Testing a strand is best for recognizing the
appropriate temperature.
