the anagen phase (growth stage) and prolongs or
speeds the process of the catagen phase (transitional stage) and telogen phase (resting stage).
The scalp needs good circulation of blood, which
is necessary for the follicles to produce healthy hair
because of the oxygen the blood provides. Vitamin
E increases blood circulation, allowing follicles to
regenerate in order for hair to continue its growth
cycle.
Other nutrients needed for healthy hair growth
include omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, proteins,
selenium, magnesium, and iron and zinc.
5. At home treatments
You can do a DIY deep conditioning treatment
using your favorite brand of conditioner. Apply
enough conditioner all over your hair including
scalp, and give yourself a gentle scalp massage.
You can leave it as is, or wrap your hair with a
shower cap or towel to add heat so all the good
stuff you need can penetrate deeper into the shaft.
Rinse out after 20-30 minutes. You can do the same
with your preferred oil such as olive oil, coconut
oil, amla oil, jojoba oil, etc.
Hair masks are a great way to add much needed
proteins and moisture back into the hair. You can
whip up a hair mask with healthy kitchen ingredients or find them at your favorite local beauty retail
store. Here are a few hair masks you might want to
