WEDDING PREP:
WHAT YOUR BRIDE NEEDS TO
KNOW BEFORE HER BIG DAY
A
bride who hires you as a wedding stylist
for her wedding day may be just what you
need to jumpstart your career. A happy bride
would proudly wear the product of your
skills and gladly recommend you to anyone in need of
your services.
But not all brides realize that months of preparation
are required for her to see herself glowing on that day.
Because it’s not just about the amount of foundation she
would wear on her skin, or the amount of hairspray she
would need on her hair. Her glow would come from the
months of healthy eating, de-stressing, and the necessary spa and salon treatments that YOU, as her wedding
stylist, would advise her to do.
It is important to educate your clients with necessary
information if both of you want her skin and hair to
have that natural glow on her wedding day. Plus points
to the stylist who knows natural beauty! So here are
some tips you can suggest to your clients on the day she
hires you for her wedding day.

COSMOBIZ SALON APRIL 2016
1. Have your bride start repairing her hair from the
inside out. A good diet filled with Vitamins A, B,
C, and D, Omega 3 and 4 fatty acids, proteins, iron,
and zinc. All these supplements can add shine and
promote hair regrowth. Healthier hair is easier to
work with, and it adds natural shine to her hair.
2. Suggest she have her scalp checked by a Trichologist. A Trichologist can identify whether the client’s scalp needs attention or not. Plus, Trichology
treatments are one of the best treatments you’d ever
experience. A healthy scalp makes beautiful hair.
3. Know what hair color your bride wants on her wedding day. If she wants to go from dark to blonde,
advise her when would be the perfect time to
bleach her hair. We recommend bleaching months
before the wedding day so she can have a lot of
time to repair the damage done by the chemicals.
She can touch up on her regrowth weeks before the
wedding day.
4. For natural blondes, touching up on regrowth is the
only thing that needs to be done with hair color, because you don’t want to see dark roots on wedding
day hair. Blondes also tend to lose shine; suggest
a glossing treatment two days before the wedding.
5. For red heads, make sure the shade of red goes well
with her skin tone. Red heads tend to have slightly
textured hair; you can also suggest a glossing treatment two days before the wedding day so it’s soft
and easy to work with.
6. Even hair extensions need preparations! Never
take the ever-so-handy device lightly! To know

Hair Extensions” on page 46.
