COSMOBIZ SALON APRIL 2016
The hairstyle for the show, created
by Macadamia Professional, was
called the Under-Chin Side Knot.
A center part and the side knot
with a wooden stick interestingly
complement each other. Janet
Collection sponsored extension
hair to help create unique side
knot. This is their fifth time sponsoring Nicholas K. show since
2014 and showcased various
Remy hair to match models’ hair
colors; Brazilian Scent, VIP Remy,
Alco Remy, and Remy Fit Clip are
used. Bora Kim from Janet Collection said, “Hair is an important
category on runway show these
days, and that’s why famous hair
stylists and companies would like
to work together with designers.”
She also pointed out that influential fashion leaders gather during
the Fashion Week, so it’s great for
her to forecast the next season’s
trend.

icholas K’s designers, Nicholas and Christopher Kunz, a sister and brother duo, presented their fall/winter
2016 collection on the first day of the New York Fashion Week. Their inspiration for the futuristic and nomadic collection came from Arcosanti, an experimental town in Arizona. Sandy white, gray, purple, and
black outfits perfectly brought the mood of the desert where Arcosanti is located. Diverse styles were presented including loose pants, wrap tops, low V-cuts, and one shoulder dresses.
