As always not all the planned happenings took place but still trying, We would appreciate any
lectures, also to keep in mind KZN constantly complain about the cost, although I try my best to get
quotes from the most safest venues to attend in Durban area that is comfortable for all to attend, we
do have a problem with access in and out of Durban area and this is the most centralised area for
everyone to attend.
Although we have several invites per year, most members are only allowed to attend one of the
functions, cost is a problem at most companies.
Happenings Planned as per below:
Beverly Hills Hotel, invites went out to join a “Bosman Wine Paired Dinner” on the 4 April this was a
night time event No one RSVP.
Beverly Hills Hotel, Invites went out her to join “Lancôme Ladies Day” 11 April, only one lady RSVP,
I had to cancel, (waited to attend High tea and Estée Lauder events because of cost).
Silicone Talk May via Skype- Margaret Bass and myself joined in my office but unfortunately tried to
connect and was not successful.
Professional Beauty Show, attended on the 2 June, introduced Coschem to all but the few stands
and informed all about our HPCI Exhibition and what’s it all about.
Oyster Box Ladies Day – “High Tea”, 23 August
Total 19 Ladies attended, this is an event that many of the ladies enjoy and will always attend again.
Oyster Box “Estee Lauder Cancer” awareness month, 17 October, Restricted to one table of 10
ladies only, normally this event is held at the Beverly Hills hotel but switched over to Oyster box.
Steak & Grill- KZN year-end Luncheon, 22 November
Total of 27 attended, the generous donation of goodies by Bridget: London No 16 Bath &
Shower Gel, English Rose body cream, Amla Hair oil, Nimue SPF50 sachets I fetched and couriered
to my office in Durban, Thanks to: Mitras amenities for offering a couple of Mozit repellent lotion
tubes and some Boom Shaka Laka spray, with these I managed to make sure all that attended had
the same amount of items available and everyone was happy and enjoyed themselves.
