Social Committee Lecture Evening Committee Report by Kim MacCallum Rene Spada 2019 certinly had a few more challanges than 2018 with many social events feeling the reccession. Attendance was down slightly from the prior year as most companies were ustilizing budgets in other areas like HPCI. The Social Committee are hard working individuals who allocate plenty of their personal time to assist with all the social events as well as other events thorughut the year. They set up the venues, assist with the registration desks, source items for goody bags, prizes and lucky draws as well as pack the goody bags. They also investigate venues/presenters for the s ocial programmes and help the office with many other activies associated with a social event.
