Membership Committee Ivor Zwane PR Committee Members: Members of the Society agreed to observe the Constitution and Bylaws of the Society and to do their best to promote and maintain the dignity of the Society. As a Society we aim to focus on adding value to the cosmetic industry. Education in this regard is a key focus. Membership benefits include: • Full Access to our Website Interactive portal. • Automatically membership to the IFSCC. • Access to Member Society Job Boards: a web page in the Member Society section lists Job Boards run by IFSCC Member Societies, with links. • Cosmetic Science Degree Programs: a web page in the Education Section lists degree programs around the world in cosmetic science, with links. • Electronic copies of the IFSCC quarterly magazine, plus issues of the Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Review Magazine. • Discounts to attend various events. Lecture evenings are free to members. • Free Access to the Journal of Skin Pharmacology and Physiology: in the Publications / Scientific Articles web page. • Notification of industry vacancies. • Networking opportunities. • Diploma in Cosmetic Science. Membership Plus • • PR suggested an inclusion of a category where members are allowed to register at a Premium fee and be able to attend most of the Society’s premier events. The suggestion is still with Council for debate. Category Expansion Investigation underway (to get clarity from Council). • o Member want a feasibility study on possible inclusion of other related categories like Home care (proposal forwarded to council).
