Going back in time Looking back at the initial golf days , Mike Capon from Sensetek , our MC for this year ’ s prize giving , commented : ‘ The very first golf day was put together by the social committee with the help of Russell Burton Durham , and the MC for the evening was Revlon ’ s Adelle Du Plessis .’ Mike Capon initiated the Coschem golf days which are now an annual fixture on the Coschem calendar .
The companies that have regularl participated in the Coschem golf day for the past 15 years include Natchem , Akulu Marchon now Chemsystems , Lipo now Vantage , Savannah Fine Chemicals , and Symrise . ‘ The die-hards , Claman have participated in every single golf day since the event was launched in 2006
Natchem were the winning team this year and sales from the Mulligans , totalling R3 000 , were donated to Claw , a welfare organisation focused primarily on animal health care .
