LANDSCAPE ORNAMENTS, ARTIFACTS, BED EDGING, & SOLAR LIGHTS 4.4

General Information:
a. Locate or position all ornaments only in established mulched areas. No items are
allowed in lawn/grass area.
b. Approval may be rescinded by the NARC and/or ACC if ornaments are not maintained in
good condition at all times or become obtrusive to the neighborhood residents.
c. Maximum 6 ornaments per house.
d. Each ornament is subject to approval by the NARC.
e. Brightly colored, highly reflective “sun balls”, etc., and plastic materials are not permitted.

Statuary Static (statue fixed in position):
a. 3 per house permitted. 2 in front yard, 1 in back yard (or vice versa), or side yard (if
corner lot).
b. Maximum height is 36 inches above grade.
c. Statuary should be weather resistant, white concrete, earth tone colors, or non-reflective
metal.

Statuary Stabile (an abstract sculpture made of wire, metal, or other weather resistant
materials to fixed supports):
a. 1 per house permitted in back yard only.
b. Maximum height of 36 inches above grade.
4. Shepherd’s Hooks:
2 per house permitted in rear yard only (or 1 may be in side yard if corner lot), with 2 prongs
per hook, used for displaying hanging plants only.
5. Bird Bath:
a. 1 per house in lieu of 1 statuary item, purpose made for use intended.
b. Maximum height from above grade to rim: is 28 inches.
c. Small statue may be added not to exceed 18 inches high from rim.
