COACH AND PORCH LIGHT FIXTURES 2.2
ANY CHANGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOME REQUIRES BOTH NARC AND ACC APPROVAL
THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS APPLY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF All COACH AND
PORCH LIGHT FIXTURES.
1.
Obtain a Kings Ridge ACC Application for Approval form from Kings Ridge Management
Office (CMO) located at the clubhouse.
a. Provide a copy of the guideline.
b. A copy of the vendors brochure identifying the color and size of the light fixture.
c. Indicate on your application the proposed placement of the light fixture(s).
d. Return your completed application with all the required information and submit it to the
Community Management office for approval by both the NARC and the ACC.
2. Do not start construction of any improvement, alteration, or addition to any existing structure
or make any site improvements or changes prior to approval.
3. The design and style of both the porch and coach lights are at the approval of the NARC and
ACC. Coach and porch lights may be limited in size, style and design, and shall be consistent
with the character established in Kings Ridge.
4. All exterior coach and porch lighting fixtures shall match in color and similar design.
5. Coach Light Fixture - Addition or Replacement
a. Light fixture finishes may be chosen from the following; satin nickel, antique brass,
bronze, black, or white. Glass may be clear or frosted.
b. Light fixture size: The homes where light fixtures are mounted on each side of the garage
door, the rule of thumb is one quarter the height of the garage door, (18 inch minimum,
to 21 inch maximum), top to bottom. Minimum height may be smaller if deemed
appropriate by both the NARC and ACC. For St. Ives homes where the fixtures are
mounted on each side of the front door the rule of thumb is one quarter the height of
the doorway (minimum of 21 inches and maximum of 26 inches in height
c. Extension from wall shall be at a maximum of 12 inches.
d. Minimum height from ground to the bottom of fixtures is 6 feet; maximum height:
7 feet, 6 inches.
e. Light bulbs may be clear or frosted of wattage recommended by manufacturer. Light
yellow colored bulbs are permitted; however, no other colored light bulbs are permitted.
