Other Services
We provide a range of other services all of which we will review
and develop further those which have greatest potential to
provide income which can be generated back into our key
business. We have in-house services including cleaning,
landscaping, and repairs and these services will be further
aligned and opportunities for growth further explored both
within the Accord Group and in delivering services externally
on a commercial basis to other organisations and to private
individuals.
We remain at core a housing business and we have incredible
opportunity through our LoCaL Homes product to deliver new
products including cheaper homes, flexible units which can be
changed for future purpose (e.g. one bed units to two bed units),
modular extensions and self-build ‘packs’ for private house
builders. We have an enhanced marketing strategy to develop
the products further and to scale up the commercial offering. To
do so we shall explore licence and consultancy models, initially
with key partners and with the potential for nationwide roll-out.
Other examples include the InDesign architect services,
managed services and development services. As part of this
work we must continue to assess market prospects, research
and development ideas and have ongoing involvement in
groups of influence both at regional and national levels. We also
recognise the benefits of partnership working and will continue
to negotiate closer working arrangements with other Registered
Providers and care businesses where there is a Board-led
business case to do so.

in these activities to meet strategic objectives
n To market and sell the services to other providers,
domestic customers and commercial organisations.
And through all of these things we should ensure that we
clearly inform and explain our great homes, value for money
products and services.
