Keepmoat Homes 15 Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Objectives Targets KEEPING PEOPLE SAFE Through active and visible leadership we will aim to manage risk extensively and proportionately • Demonstrate a year on year reduction for both Reportable Accident Frequency Rate (RAFR) and Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) • Introduce a new online induction package for both employees and supply chain operatives • Develop an Occupational Health framework that seeks to address pre, para and post-employment health requirements PROTECTING & ENHANCING THE ENVIRONMENT We will look to minimise our environmental impacts by systematically reviewing all activities in line with legal and industry requirements. Developing knowledge, competency and innovative processes in order to deliver and promote best practice. • Achieve a 3.98 Carbon and Energy intensity (t/£100k) • Implement a framework for managing environmental obligations • Achieve a 9.8 waste production intensity (t/£00k) • Develop a site based compliance register that details all permits, licences, exemptions and reporting requirements • Have a waste efficiency of 97% diverted from landfill • Introduce a biodiversity action plan to be established for all sites with turnover > £15m • Achieve an annual water consumption intensity of 13.8 CONSIDERATE PRACTICES We aim to be a leader in the Considerate Contractors Scheme (CCS) and through effectively managing the quality of our design, build and onsite behaviour have a positive impact on the neighbourhoods where we work • Every site to achieve above the industry average score of 35 QUALITY ASSURED Through the development of a contemporary management system, utilising resources and new technology. We will be able to deliver our products and services efficiently and consistently • Introduce a new business management system • The development of quality ‘leading’ (input) and ‘lagging’ (output) measures to ensure service improvement
