Boats contesting in the Women’s Winter Series must have a female helm. The race takes advantage of the Winter morning breeze on a Sunday. f f The racing format includes both Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker, around the cans racing inshore on Pittwater. f f Race length average: 120 minutes. f f The Women’s Winter Series commences in May and is held on the first Sunday each month through until August. f f Starting time: 1000hrs. Early Bird Saturday Series f f The racing format includes both Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker, around the cans racing inshore on Pittwater. Winter Sunday Dustbuster Series f f The Winter Dustbuster Series is an early morning event of fast paced one design racing featuring short windward leeward sprints. Racing caters for both experienced and new one design and sportsboat teams. The Dustbuster Series commences in May and is held on the second Sunday of each month through until August. f f The race format is a laid course with up to three Windward/Leeward races held for each round. f f Race length average: 35 minutes per race. f f Starting times: From 0830hrs. A handicap start is when boats are allocated an individual starting time of day. Results are calculated by place over the line. Races take place during July and August. f f Starting times: Start times are dependent on individual handicaps, with the first boats starting at 1200hrs.
