Winter Saturday Series
f f The Saturday Winter Series consists of a
handicap start for all boats which makes way for
an exciting finish as boats cross the finish line at
approximately the same time. A handicap start is
when boats are allocated an individual starting time
of day. Results are calculated by place over the
line. Races take place during June and July.
f f The racing format includes both Spinnaker and
Non-Spinnaker, around the cans racing inshore on
Pittwater.
f f Race length average: 120 minutes.
f f Starting times: Start times are dependent on
individual boat handicaps, with the first boats
starting at 1200hrs. Starting handicaps are released
by 0930hrs on the day of each race.
Two Handed Sunday Series
f f The Two Handed Series runs alongside the
Women’s Winter Series and consists of four inshore
races on Pittwater. Racing takes advantage
of the
