Offshore Saturday Events
f f The Pittwater Inshore Series is held on
Saturday over Spring and Summer with 1 to
2 races scheduled each month. The Series
caters for all types of keelboats with a number
of handicap scoring options available. Estuary Pointscore Series
f f The racing format includes Spinnaker and
Non-Spinnaker, around the cans racing inshore
on Pittwater.
f f Race length average: 120-180 minutes.
f f Starting times: From 1330hrs.
Mini Saturday Regatta Series for
Sportsboats and One Design Classes
f f The Mini Regatta Series caters for
Sportsboat and One Design Classes and is a
Series of three races per round featuring short
windward leeward sprints. The Series is held
on Saturday inshore on Pittwater with 1 to 2
rounds scheduled each month. A great Series
for both experienced and new crew to regatta
style racing.
f f Race length average: 35 minutes per race.

Short Ocean Pointscore Series
f f The Short Ocean Pointscore Series (SOPS)
is the next step up from estuary races with
courses starting and finishing in Broken
Bay and races covering the waters between
Terrigal to the north and Longreef to the south.
Held on Saturday over Spring and Summer
LFRE
with 1 to 2 races scheduled each A
month. The
Series allows crew to experience offshore
racing in a daylight coastal environment for a
competitive race experience or in preparation
for longer offshore races like those in the Club
Marine Blue Water Pointscore Series.
f f The racing format sees races consist of
a variety of windward/leeward offshore and
passage style races up to 8+nm offshore.
f f The racing format sees a laid course of
marks with up to three Windward/Leeward
sprints held for each round.
f f Racing format is designed for spinnaker
racing and includes a mixture of laid and fixed
marks up to 2nm offshore and the waters of
Pittwater estuary.

f f The Estuary Series offers competitors
the experience of offshore day sailing with a
mixture of windward/leeward and passage
courses on Broken Bay. Held on Saturday
over Spring and Summer with 1 to 2 races
scheduled each month.
