Dr. Li Wenliang sent a message on the popular Chinese messaging app WeChat to other doctors and to the country of China warning of a virus that in his opinion resembled Sars (severe acute respiratory syndrome), another deadly coronavirus, but the government imprison and investigate the doctor, instead of acting against the new virus.
