Dinner, Dancing & Awards The Clubs annual Dinner & Dance awards evening was again held at the eagle house hotel, After the 3 course meal, it was soon time for the awards to be handed out and the dancing to start. Jeff Dowell, David Jeffery & Phil Cuming were all in attendance to hand out the awards for each event they sponsor, Ken Brain took home the RTV title, Tony Penna was again the CCV champion and Chris Cuming wont the Comp title. Elsewhere Chris Wheeler took home the wreckers trophy, Ken Brain was the Over 50 Trails driver, Julia Cuming won the Lyn Howe Memorial award. Tony Powell and David Jeffery were also winners on the night. Newcomer awards went to Leigh Jackson (RTV), Mark Swails (CCV) & Tom Arrowsmith (Comp). Ross Lillicrap (RTV) and Chris Cuming (CCV) took home the Novice cup trophies. The full overall results from 2013 can be found on our new web site. Ken Brain Took the overall RTV title in 2013 after a year long battle with David White,Ross Lillicrap & Gavin Earnshaw. Ken claimed the title at the final round which was held at Newnham Park, Leigh Jackson took home the best Ladies trophy after finishing her first year of rtv’s, she spent the season double driving the Discovery with husband Neil.
