Baskerville Challenge - Following the normal Baskies format which see’s the
CCV on the Saturday, the RTV on the Sunday
and the time trail on the Monday. It was the CCV
guys in action first 15 club members took part
and all of them were in class 9 and several of
those entered were double drives. With the
weather being dry it would be the section rather
than the conditions that would catch people out.
It would be a low scoring day most would have
trouble free days, Taryn decided to make his trail
harder work than needed by breaking a diff or
two but he would still go on to finish as the second best C&D member finishing
8th in class. Chris Legg ended up as the best club member in the CCV taking 5th
in class.
Sunday and time for the RTV guys to have
fun in the woods. After finishing in the top 3 in
2012 David White and Ross Lillicrap were
hoping for more of the same but it wasn’t to
be. David picked up a 9 early on before going
on to break a drive shaft and spent the rest of
the weekend trying to fix it. Ross ended up
with a few mistake and being sent the wrong
way which put him out
