The who, what, where, when, why and how of
prayer–a report on the Scots Kirk church weekend at
Crêt Bérard
Anyone who has been on a Scots Kirk church weekend knows it’s all
about fellowship – spending time together and getting to know one
another. It’s also about growing together as we explore our faith and
who we are as a congregation.
The social aspect is as important as the
spiritual, and time is set aside on Saturday
evenings for games and relaxation.
Like the two previous annual retreats, the 2016
church weekend was held in the idyllic
surroundings of Crêt Bérard, a conference
centre in the style of a neo-Roman monastery
set in acres of forest and with stunning views of
