Deputy Director's Message

Thanksgiving becomes more meaningful as I grow older. It is a specific day dedicated to show our thanks to others. Almost daily we get to experience Blessings at Cornerstone and that is because of the support that people like YOU show us.

Cornerstone is blessed and privileged to be an outreach mission where others who seek to do good, have the opportunity to fulfill their desires. Countless volunteers, staff, donors, and prayer warriors all help Cornerstone, help others.

From the hundreds of volunteers and the small handful of staff that cook and clean in our soup kitchen, or take-in, sort and then distribute food in our food pantry or the donors of that food, supplied from your own garden, local supermarket or Food Bank - we say THANK YOU!

To the thousands of donors and dozens of volunteers who donate their time and efforts to our clothing bank to help those in need - we say THANK YOU!

To the volunteers and staff that provide a comfortable place for those without homes to sleep safely every night in our shelters - we say THANK YOU!

To the volunteers who conduct all the special programs in the Community Center that help the youth through the Teen Center, the families with young children and the households looking to participate in classes, all purposely working together to help change the trajectory of their lives - we say THANK YOU!

To our Board members and their families, who have dedicated so much time and effort to helping Cornerstone, serve others - we say THANK YOU!

There is so much to be thankful for at Cornerstone. The responsibilities are extremely difficult at times. But, isn’t that always the case when “significance” is involved. I know that I thank The Lord that He has placed each of us in these positions to do “His Will.”

This Thanksgiving season, please know that all of us at

Cornerstone are thankful for you

Bryan Flint

Happy Thanksgiving friends!
