5.3 Expenses
Volunteer supervision
It is entirely the decision of the organisation to offer to reimburse any receipted out-of-pocket expenses.
The organisation must consider that they are setting a precedent by offering expenses to a volunteer.
Volunteer member:
Organisation’s budgets must be considered and most volunteers are giving their time free of charge. If the
volunteer is representing the organisation at an event, expenses should be considered for this task.

Insurance is provided by the organisation to cover all volunteers working on behalf and at the direction of the

6.1 Volunteer involvement
The organisation monitors and evaluates volunteer involvement in the organisation on a regular basis and
seeks to make ongoing improvements.
6.2 Feedback
Constructive feedback on this document is always welcome. It should be given to the organisations’ Volunteer
Co-Ordinator who will ensure that it is considered fully.
