Joselinho suddenly spark to action with a
break to goal forcing the keeper to a foul
conceding a penalty, and just a yellow
card. The penalty was easily slotted into
the back of the net for the fourth by Padal.
Joselihino once again broke through moments later to put number five past Barnfather.
Britannia's defence was in total disarray,
and without their options to run at Europa,
having lost their main runners when the
Brazilians left, Britannia seemed like a
team crumbling before the very eyes of the
small crowd.
Josephine, freely weaved between the
Britannia defence and became a thorn to
them, posing constant problems, but
seemingly going unmarked throughout his
time on the field.
Pinned back, Britannia conceded a penalty
from a corner as they attempted to clear
the ball with a high kick bring a Europa
player down in the area. Rodriguez
stepped forward to take it and slotted it
past the keeper.
The match was literally over by then, but
just in case the inspired Joselhino continued to cause chaos upon the Britannia defence, his runs forcing numerous saves,
his persistent free moving game, stealing
balls deep inside Britannia's half as he
sought to increase his goal tally.
And surely he did as he finished the game
with five goals to his name to see Europa
win by 10-1.
Britannia who had come into the match
having provided up to now a respectable
performance against tougher opposition
were found lacking across the field. The
departure of their Brazilian contingence ,
along with the absence of players injured
and suspended leaving them with a mere
semblance of their tough fast pace game
which teams have come to respect them
for.
