Dear Corbin Elementary School Parents and Guardians ,
It is with great excitement that we welcome you to the 2024-25 school year at Corbin Elementary School ( CES ). Whether we are welcoming you back to CES or welcoming you to our school community for the first time , we hope that you are as excited as we are for the opportunities that lie ahead this year . As always , we are thankful for the partnership between our school , families , and the community , and ready to work together to ensure that each day is a great day to be a Corbin Redhound !
In order to provide you with an opportunity to meet your child ’ s teachers and learn more about what to expect at CES , we are offering Open House events for each grade level . Please take note of the following dates and times for Open House :
4th Grade Open House : August 12 , 2024 , from 5:00 - 6:30 p . m .
5th Grade Open House : August 15 , 2024 , from 5:00 - 6:30 p . m .

of academic excellence , we are proud to offer a variety of extracurricular clubs and athletic programs for students to pursue their interests and extend their learning beyond the classroom . Our 21st Century program sponsors a range of afterschool clubs such as choir , chess , animation , art , and many more . We also offer highly competitive athletic and academic teams . Our girls ’ and boys ’ basketball team , cross country runners , cheerleaders , archers , and academic team members make all of us proud to be Redhounds !
For family members who are looking for ways to connect with and support our school , we offer a Parent Teacher Organization ( PTO ). This team of dedicated parents and family members organizes a host of events that enrich our student experience . Last year , our students were able to experience a Color Run , school dance , and numerous pep rallies thanks to the work of our PTO . We greatly appreciate our PTO members , and encourage you to get involved at CES through this wonderful organization .
