Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year from the Corbin School of Innovation ! Our school provides a number of programs and services to meet the needs of students in southeastern Kentucky and beyond . Here are the following programs :
MONTESSORI
The Corbin School of Innovation provides the only Montessori school for grades K through high school in southeastern Kentucky . What is Montessori ? Children ( and adults ) learn best by doing and being actively engaged in problem-solving . Students in their high school years are focused on career majors , including entrepreneurial business , filmmaking / media arts , counseling / social work , and arts / humanities .
FLEX
The Corbin School of Innovation is one of only three schools recommended by the Kentucky Department of Education that successfully combines virtual

instruction with in-person seminars . This allows students that work or that need a flexible schedule to stay on track in school while pursuing a career .
KAPPA
KAPPA is a full homeschooling program that provides evidence-based curricula , certified teacher support ,
and a blended learning environment that incorporates self-paced learning to enhance student potential . KAPPA designs an educational program that parents can feel comfortable in knowing that their child is receiving the best content and activities to maximize instruction , all while being in the safe confines of home .
Highlights for this year at the Corbin School of Innovation include a number of high interest clubs for students . Current clubs are as follows : 1 ) Filmmaking ; 2 ) FBLA- Future Business Leaders of America ; 3 ) Beta Club ; 4 ) HOSA – Future Health Professionals ; 5 ) Theater / Drama ; and 6 ) Art Club .
