plan to continue to celebrate wins during the forthcoming school year .
New for the 2022-2023 is an opportunity for our senior students to attend “ in person ” classes at the University of the Cumberlands . Any eligible senior can take at least two on campus courses in the afternoon on campus , at Williamsburg . What an exciting experience for them to both participate , explore , and visualize their post secondary work !
Not only can students participate on campus , but they can also take a variety of dual credit courses online through the post-secondary institution and through our instructors at CHS . Dual credit partners include the following : Eastern Kentucky University , the University of the Cumberlands , and Somerset Community College . Eastern Kentucky University offers both Business and Education pathways for our students . Additionally , the Corbin Area Technology Center and the new Corbin Career Center , both on Corbin High School ’ s campus , offer dual credit in all of their courses .
The Corbin Career Center is our newest building on the high school ’ s campus . Seeking to meet the needs of our community , this building hosts two new programs , HVAC and Construction Management . With state of the art equipment , students will learn under experienced professionals the necessary skills to be successful in each of these pathways .
Corbin High School is proud of our programs , students , and staff . We only plan to get better , pursue excellence , and be our best . We truly believe that redhounds work harder and will continue to be relentless in our pursuits !
