With grades 6-8 , Corbin Middle School houses approximately 720 students . We are unique in that each grade consists of two teams . The teaming concept not only allows students to feel part of an academic family but also assists teachers ’ planning time for content . When a rich curriculum is delivered in a family atmosphere , students feel safe , cared for , loved and are ready to learn .
In addition to the teaming concept , Corbin Middle fosters relationships through their Advisor / Advisee ( A &

A ) program . We begin each day in this homeroom where we explore various discussion topics , complete service learning projects , and participate in game day . A & A is an integral part of our curriculum at CMS because we believe relationships construct the foundation that allows optimum learning of content .
In our new state of the art building , we offer each grade a computer lab in addition to two Chromebook Carts per grade , a Gateway to Technology computer lab and an Introduction to
