Currently, ALT 230 U/L; [18-121U/L],
AST 25 U/L; [16-55 U/L], ALP 380 U/L;
[5-160 U/L] and GGT 25 U/L; [0-13 U/
L]. The thrombocytosis has persisted
at 453 u/L; [148-448 K/uL]. Repeat
abdominal ultrasounds did not show
recurrence of hepatic disease. The
splenic nodule has remained stable.
Three view thoracic and abdominal
radiographs were taken 5 months
post operatively. They showed no
signs of metastatic disease in the
lungs and a moderately decreased
hepatic volume. Gizmo is currently
on Denamarin 31mg/kg PO q24h
and Ursodiol 8.75 mg/kg POq12h.
The owners declined further
evaluation of the splenic nodule
and chemotherapy. They are very
happy with the outcome and
thrilled to have been able to spend
more time with Gizmo.
