The Handler Instruction and Training Seminar (HITS) is the largest police
K9 training event in the US. K9 handlers attend this conference to learn
about appropriate training and proper care of their K9 partners.
Dr. Medina and Deana lectured to the canine handlers about common
injuries affecting police K9s and what the handlers can do to prevent
injury during training and in the field.
