Salvete omnes ! I ’ ve been working on lots of VJCL stuff this past spring and summer , and I ’ m so excited to share it with you ! After the Spring Council Meeting ( which was one of the most well-attended VJCL meetings I ’ ve been to , so thank you all for coming !) I worked with my fellow officers and cochairs to finalize plans for Spring Classics Day , which was held virtually on May 18th . I reached out to several Certamen players for presentations to give at the event and worked with my school to get prizes to give out , and the event ended up being a success ! I also created a video summarizing the Spring Council meeting , which will be published along with the minutes from that meeting . Before Nationals , I attended several spirit meetings with the officers and co-chairs where we worked on designs for our spirit t-shirts and came up with cheers that matched the different themes for each day . After three weeks at the Governor ’ s Latin Academy ( which was amazing !) I attended the second week of Castra , and helped to run the first spirit castra since COVID . At Nationals , I played on the Virginia Varsity Certamen team , helped to run spirit and fellowship , and met so many amazing people while getting to know everyone in VJCL even better . This fall , I ’ ve been working more on a new , updated publicity rubric , which I hope to make public as soon as possible , and getting excited for VJCL convention ! Iwant to thank everyone so much for making this an amazing year , and it ’ s been so amazing to work with all of you !
