BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES
• TMA Group is evaluating opportunities to relieve traffic congestion in the Cool
Springs area, specifically the corridor that runs between McEwen Blvd., Carothers
Blvd., Cool Springs Blvd., Mallory Lane, and Moores Lane.
• This research aims to answer the following key questions:
• Are residents and commuters interested in a circulator transit system during the weekday lunch hours and
other out of home/office activities?
• What transportation modes appeal most to residents and commuters within the defined area?
• What concerns do residents and commuters have about alternative transportation modes?
• What is the profile of residents and commuters in the defined area? (i.e., resident vs. commuter, place of
residence, days of the week they commute, time they leave/arrive, current commute modes, and
willingness to continue to be involved in the process to improve transportation and commute options.
