I am Brad Pitt…or at least I’m named after him. In a movie called Legends of the Fall, Brad Pitt played a character named Tristan. My mother happened to see the movie and love the name, so when I was born on November 13, 1995, I was dubbed Tristan Lee Watson. I would consider myself a pretty funny guy, and I’d like to think I’ve been that way since birth. I think I can prove this by saying my first action as a human being was…relieving myself all over the doctor’s hands. That pretty much set the stage. Since then, it’s been eighteen years, and I’ve learned to use the toilet. I live with My mom, my stepdad, and my brother Tyler, while spending every other weekend with my Dad, my stepmom, and my half-brother at my dad’s house. Obviously, my parents are divorced, but in a way I’m thankful for that because I wouldn’t be who I am today if they had stayed together. Now that the exposition is out of the way, here’s the good stuff. I plan to become an attorney. Now, that’s a whole lot easier said than done, but I think I’ve got what it takes. Granted there are many obstacles I’ll have to overcome first, such as college. I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin for the next four years, probably majoring in Rhetoric and Writing with a minor in Psychology. Once all that’s over, I plan on attending UT’s law school, which is ranked fourteenth in the nation. Those two tiers of schooling come to a grand total of seven years…woohoo. Anyway, I think I’m up to the challenge, but there are a few things at the outset that are obviously daunting. For example, one may not simply go to college. One must first develop a means to pay for said college, and that is much easier said than done. You’d think that being Salutatorian would make finding and getting scholarships a little easier, but you’d be wrong. So far, I have amassed the whopping sum of $1,000 in scholarships! I do have a long way to go as far as finances are concerned, but I know I can do it. I joke around often and am very lighthearted, but I’m also extremely motivated. I will succeed.
